We are often asked if we accept gently used items. The answer is we do not. We only provide new items to the children in our care. The children we serve deserve the best chance moving forward. Often times, these children have rarely, if ever, had new clothing and shoes. Receiving new items, provides the children with confidence and a feeling of HOPE.

Only NEW items are accepted in the Rainbow Room. For some children, these may be the only new things they have.

EASTER BASKETS FOR KIDS



Each Easter, the Nueces County CPS Community Partners Board and volunteers work together to provide Easter baskets for the children in the care of CPS. Contact us for more information and how you can help make a child smile.



HOST A BABY SHOWER



Groups, organizations, churches and individuals can host a baby shower benefitting the Rainbow Room. Contact us if you would like to request a speaker and more information.



FUNDRAISERS

YOU can make a meaningful difference for abused and neglected children in Nueces County.



We believe every child should be valued, nurtured and loved. But, behind closed doors, there are children in our cities who are forgotten, abused and neglected. Nueces County Community Partners Board provides for the immediate and urgent needs of these children and supports the Child Protective Services caseworkers who help them.

The road to healing is difficult, but with the help of volunteers and donors like you, we are here every day to provide what these children and their caseworkers need to start the journey to healing.
